by the Talent Series which is similar to the GE

Ideal as a school balance for the educational market providing
solid weighing technology, high-quality craftsmanship and
an excellent price. Sartorius' new Basic Lite (BL)
series is competitively priced and packed with features,
including a high grade stainless steel weighing pan, easy-to-read
LCD, five application programs including mass unit  conversion,
counting, animal weighing, net totaling and % weighing.
Available options include carrying case, bi-directional
RS-232C data interface, remote
display, calibration masses, and external battery pack.

Elegant and robust lines, a display designed for excellent
visibility, a vibration-proof plate in drawn stainless steel
against lateral blows and embedded filtering software, allow
you to work in almost any extreme conditions.
The BL Series offer versatility and mobility for field weighing
applications. The double button tare keypads on either
side of the display allows the user to tare
the balance with whatever hand you have free.
