The new CPWplus Series has several models and now comes
standard with Bi-directional RS-232 interface enabling you to connect
to a computer or printer. These compact platform scales are
the low cost solution to many industrial applications. The
scale is available in 6 different capacities 13/33/75/165/330/440
lb and has a remote indicator with a large LCD display which is
easy to read from a distance. The water-resistant keyboard
has 4 function keys is very easy to use. With the standard
AC adapter included and the facility for drycell batteries, the
CPWplus compact scale offers all the flexibility needed for
a truly portable scale.

The CPW features an Auto-Off power savings feature to save power
when the scale is not in use. You can select 4 different times
(120 secs, 180 secs, 240 secs, 300 secs) or you can disable the
auto-off altogether so the scale stays ON all the time until you
press the On/Off button to turn off the scale.
 Additional
advanced features of the CPWplus Series include the freedom
to turn OFF or ON specific weigh modes. The CPW Series comes
from the factory with the 4 weigh modes enabled - pounds, kilogram,
pound:ounces & ounces. Any scale that offers multiple
weigh modes always creates the possibility that the user could be
weighing in the wrong mode. This is difficult not to recognize
since the LCD display clearly shows on the LCD either lb, kg, lb:oz
or oz, but there is always a chance you have staffing that is not
the most cognizant. The CPWplus gives you the flexibility
to disable specific weigh modes so only one weigh mode can be used
by the operator.
The CPW is the perfect field scale for federal, state, and local
department of transportation testing laboratories, commercial testing
laboratories, material producers and contractors. The CPWplus
30, CPWplus 60 and CPWplus 100 meets ASTM C 29, C
138 and AASHTO T19, T121 concrete specifications with the most commonly
used 0.25 cu. ft. (7.08 L) unit weight containers. When purchased
with the optional hard carry case that features a foam fitted interior,
lock and strap. The CPWplus is the best buy for your
money today for field testing.

Cord Length indicator to base when fully stretched is
9 feet. The indicator cord is similar to a phone handset
cord and 6 feet is more reasonable since most people will

that fluctuate when the weight of the parcel does not have the
load evenly distributed. |

| Numerous platform shipping scales, many of which
are sold in the office supplies stores, use only one loadcell
in the center of the platform. This design uses 4 levers
that transfer the force applied to the platform to a tiny single
loadcell in the center. This design depends upon multiple
fulcrum points. Having additional moving parts increases
the chances of failure. The arms can easily bend if the
load applied to the platform isn't properly centered on the
scales. The Adam CPW eliminates all these possible
failures by implementing 4 individual loadcells which is more
expensive way to build a scale. |
